Welcome to the web site for news about me and my new boat – Current Sunshine. The name was inspired by the book The last hours of Ancient Sunlight and my wish is to have her run entirely on current sunshine, that is, to use no fossil fuels.
And she will take me on adventures.

Cathy Hawkins did it solo in 6 days, so I think I could budget say a week to sail across the ditch to you guys.
I’ll be leaving in the morning. The first shakedown leg is to Port Stephens. Then we’ll do an overnighter and see how far we get.
